Questions to prepare before your enquiry
A useful enquiry describes what you need, the facts that affect it, and the outcome you expect. Keep copies of written quotations and clarify exclusions before agreeing to a service.
- Identify the legal entity, ownership, activities and where transactions take place.
- Organise revenue, expense, payroll and cross-border payment records.
- Ask which registrations, taxes and filing obligations apply to those facts.
- Request the official basis for any threshold, exemption or filing date quoted.
- Agree what the professional will prepare, submit and retain, and who remains responsible.
Turn your checklist into a brief
Summarise your circumstances, location, desired timeline and the questions still unanswered. At the enquiry stage, avoid sharing identity documents, banking passwords or sensitive records. A provider can explain its secure document process if you proceed.
