Questions to prepare before your enquiry

A useful enquiry describes what you need, the facts that affect it, and the outcome you expect. Keep copies of written quotations and clarify exclusions before agreeing to a service.

  1. Describe the people, assets or risks you need to cover.
  2. Compare coverage limits, deductibles, exclusions and territorial scope.
  3. Ask about waiting periods, disclosure requirements and pre-existing-condition provisions where relevant.
  4. Review the claims process, cancellation terms and renewal conditions.
  5. Compare the actual policy wording, not only the headline premium.

Turn your checklist into a brief

Summarise your circumstances, location, desired timeline and the questions still unanswered. At the enquiry stage, avoid sharing identity documents, banking passwords or sensitive records. A provider can explain its secure document process if you proceed.
