Questions to prepare before your enquiry
A useful enquiry describes what you need, the facts that affect it, and the outcome you expect. Keep copies of written quotations and clarify exclusions before agreeing to a service.
- State the purpose, amount, preferred term and source of repayment.
- Request a written repayment schedule and the full fees and charges.
- Separate quoted profit or interest rates from APR and total repayment; do not treat them as interchangeable.
- Ask about security, guarantees, required insurance, early settlement and late payment conditions.
- Confirm the provider assesses eligibility and makes the final financing decision.
Turn your checklist into a brief
Summarise your circumstances, location, desired timeline and the questions still unanswered. At the enquiry stage, avoid sharing identity documents, banking passwords or sensitive records. A provider can explain its secure document process if you proceed.
